Pakistan Passport Renewal in Dubai: Fees, Documents & Online Process

Where to Apply in Dubai

Pakistani nationals living in Dubai have two main options to renew their passport in 2026. You can apply online through the official DGIP portal or visit the Pakistan Consulate General in Dubai for in-person biometrics and submission.

The online route is preferred by most residents because it removes the long queues, but you will still need to attend the consulate for biometric verification.

Documents You Need

Keep the following ready before starting: your current passport (original and copies), valid UAE residence visa, Emirates ID, recent passport-sized photo with a white background, and proof of fee payment.

For minors, parents must also provide their own passports, a B-form or CRC, and a guardianship affidavit if applicable.

Fees and Processing Time

Fees depend on the booklet size (36 or 100 pages), validity (5 or 10 years), and whether you choose normal or urgent processing. Urgent applications are usually delivered within 7–10 working days, while normal processing can take 4–6 weeks.

Step-by-Step Online Process

Create an account on the DGIP e-passport portal, fill in your personal and travel details, upload the required documents, pay the fee online, and book a biometric appointment at the Dubai consulate. After biometrics, the new passport is couriered to your UAE address.
